Volunteer Postings

Good things happen when everyone in our community feels a sense of belonging and connection. A vibrant, healthy community offers opportunities for everyone. At the YMCA, that often means stepping forward with a new program or service to address specific and unique needs in the communities we serve. It may also mean reaching out, beyond our walls, to deliver programs where they are needed most.

Reporting to the Aquatics Director, the role of the Learn to Swim Assistant is to support the aquatic team in the delivery of learn to swim programs.

Reporting to the Fitness Centre Director, this position is responsible for supervision of the Fitness Centre and all related duties.

YMCA Fitness Instructors are recognized across Canada. Employers and fitness leaders look for the YMCA Seal of Approval. The YMCA offers you the opportunity to obtain a certification in Group Fitness and Personal Training.

YMCA Ambassador

At the YMCA of Greater Moncton, we believe in creating a space where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Our YMCA Ambassadors are friendly, long-time members who help us make every guest feel welcome, supported, and valued from the moment they walk through our doors.

YMCA Ambassadors provide a warm, approachable presence in our lobbies and near our Welcome Desks. They greet members and guests, offer directions, provide basic information about the Y, and help showcase the welcoming culture we’re known for. As trusted voices in our Y community, Ambassadors help enhance the overall member and visitor experience.
