Afterschool

The YMCA of Greater Moncton offers a licensed, afterschool program for children aged 5 to 12 at our main location, YMCA Moncton Afterschool Program, 30 War Veterans Ave., and our satellite location, YMCA North End Afterschool Program, 70 Twin Oaks Dr. The program is open Monday to Friday, from 1:30 pm until 6:00 pm, with full-day care offered on PD and storm days along with March Break and the summer months.

We provide:

• A safe and caring environment for your child to ‘come home to’ after school
• Transportation from some area schools to the YMCA
• Program follows the YMCA A Place to Connect™ curriculum
• Program provides opportunities for physical literacy activities including: swim, gym and outdoor activities
• Children are actively engaged with educators to create program plans based on the children’s interests
• Fun, club-like environment that promotes a sense of belonging
