As an adult member, you’ll enjoy:

  • No locked-in contract or cancellation fees
  • Use your membership at both of our locations: YMCA Vaughan Harvey (30 War Veterans Ave.) and YMCA Moncton North (70 Twin Oaks Dr.), and enjoy guest privileges at YMCAs across Canada (policies and terms may vary by association).
  • Ability to place your membership on hold for 4, 8, or 12 weeks at no charge

PLUS, every Wednesday is Buddy Pass Day! Bring a friend with you to the Y so they can experience our facilities and programs alongside you, it’s a great way to share the YMCA experience.

Each YMCA association operates independently under a federated model, so while we share the same mission and values, services and membership levels can differ by location. At the YMCA of Greater Moncton, Plus locker rooms and amenities are reserved for our own local Plus Members. Visiting PLUS members from other YMCAs are always welcome to use our regular locker rooms and main facilities, included with a standard membership.

Membership PLUS is available only at our Vaughan Harvey location.

  • Speak with a YMCA staff member who will answer all of your questions.
  • Select the membership type that fits your needs.
  • Choose a payment plan that works for you.
  • A valid physical government-issued photo I.D. is required for all first-time visitors and non-members. Photos or photocopies of I.D. will not be accepted.
  • All members and guests must follow our Program Participation Policy and Member Etiquette Statement.
  • Bathing caps are required for all ages.
  • Lockers are for day use only.
  • The YMCA promotes a scent-free environment—please be considerate of others.
  • A YMCA membership is a privilege. Please respect our policies, fellow members, staff, and property at all times.
  • All non-members must have their photo taken and saved in our database before entering the facility.

  • All cancellation request must be done by either coming in person or requesting by email. The email that cancellation requests are made out to is: info@ymcamoncton.ca or infone@ymcamoncton.ca.
  • Cancellation requests must be made no later than 5 days before the next payment. The YMCA of Greater Moncton cannot guarantee that the next bi-weekly charge will not go through for any request made within 5 days of the next bi-weekly payment.
  • If there is an outstanding balance, the member is required to make up the missed fees before requesting a cancellation.
  • For annual memberships, a pro-rated refund will be issued via cheque in the mail.
  • There are no cancellations or refunds for short term passes.
  • If the YMCA is closed for reasons outside of the organization’s control, your cancellation notice will be applied when the facility reopens.
  • Your cancellation is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from the Y.
  • Bi-weekly memberships can be placed on a hold for a minimum of one (1) month and maximum of four (4) months. A total of four months of holds are permitted every calendar year. You will be given a date as to when your account will become active and your pre-authorized will resume at that time.
  • For annual memberships, holds will be applied to the membership for the specified time period (up to four months) and the membership will be extended by the same amount of time.
  • Holds cannot act as a cancellation notice. If you choose to cancel your membership during or after a hold, the Cancellation Policy applies and 5 days’ notice before the next payment must be given.
  • Hold start dates must also align with your payment cycle.
  • Financial Assisted Memberships: Holds/Extensions can only be placed due to medical reasons with documentation approved by the Director of Membership Sales & Service.
  • Your hold is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from the Y.
