A day to get to know the Y - who we are, what we do, and who we cater to. This will be a celebration of families, belongingness, and igniting spark on forging healthier communities in mind, body, and spirit. We welcome Y members and non-members to participate in a range of exciting activities, classes, and tours — all free of charge!

YMCA’s Battle of the Brains – 20 years of trivia for a cause

(Moncton, February 27, 2023) Plans are underway for the most anticipated trivia event of the year - the 20th edition of YMCA Battle of the Brains!  Presented by Q103 and New Country 96.9, this main event has been stumping academics, intellects and know-it-alls since 2002.

YMCA of Greater Moncton Launches Free Anxiety Support Program

(Moncton – January 12, 2023) - The YMCA of Greater Moncton is thrilled to announce the launch of Y Mind – a free anxiety support program for people between the ages of 13-30. Y Mind is a new, nationally operated Community Development program out of the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. This program is designed specifically to help young people cope with anxiety and the stresses of daily life.

YMCA Community Action Network Presents CultureFest 2022 – A Celebration of Immigrant Experiences and Multiculturalism

(Moncton – August 9, 2022) - The YMCA Community Action Network (YCAN) is thrilled to announce CultureFest 2022 – A Celebration of Immigrant Experiences and Multiculturalism. CultureFest 2022 has been organized by a group of nine youth that are passionate about raising awareness about the immigrant experience and highlighting multiculturalism in the Greater Moncton Area. The group of youth have come together and collaborated with local businesses and organizations to offer the community a market style event including local vendors, multicultural entertainment, an Immigrant Experience Wall, and activities! CultureFest 2022 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 14th from 11am-6pm at the Centennial Park Lower Bowl Event Space.
