In September 2026, CIBC generously supported the YMCA of Greater Moncton’s Youth Transitions Program (YTP) with an outstanding contribution of $50,000. The gift coincided with the Y’s annual fundraising campaign to help grow vital youth initiatives in our community.

The Youth Transitions Program provides free, one-on-one support to help young people navigate important life transitions and build the skills and confidence they need for the future. Support is tailored to each youth and can include daily living skills, financial literacy, emotional regulation, mindfulness, post-secondary planning and more.
“CIBC is committed to giving young people the early support and foundations they need to grow and step confidently into their future, which is why we support programs like the Youth Transitions Program,” said Rosa Trunzo, SVP, Region Head, Eastern Canada at CIBC. “We’re incredibly proud of our partnership with the YMCA of Greater Moncton. Together we’re creating a world where everyone can achieve their ambitions.”
Thanks to this generous contribution, the YMCA of Greater Moncton is expanding the Youth Transitions Program by adding an additional YTP resource, with the goal of doubling the number of youth supported through the program.
“As long-time CIBC clients, the YMCA of Greater Moncton is proud to continue building a shared legacy of wellness and philanthropy together,” said Alec Rozsnaki, Senior Director of Fund Development and Philanthropy.
The impact of YTP can be seen in the lives of the youth it serves, including improved school attendance and academic performance, increased engagement and confidence, and stronger emotional regulation and coping skills.
From all of us at the YMCA of Greater Moncton, thank you, CIBC, for your friendship, generosity and continued support of youth in our community.
