The YMCA of Greater Moncton will close both of their fitness facilities as of January 6, 2021 based on the decision of the province of New Brunswick to revert the entire province to the Orange Alert Level due to the recent increase of positive COVID-19 cases.  We will remain closed until we return to the Yellow Alert Level

Nov. 16 event part of YMCA Peace Week celebrations across Canada

(Moncton, October 23, 2018) – Tickets are now available online for the YMCA of Greater Moncton’s Peace Lunch & Learn taking place Friday, Nov. 16 as part of YMCA Peace Week celebrations across Canada.

“In recognition of our 30th year hosting an event during Peace Week, we chose to make it a Peace Lunch & Learn instead of our usual Peace Breakfast,” says Zane Korytko, CEO of the local YMCA. “This year’s event will highlight the amazing peace-building work happening inside and outside the Y. We hope to inspire attendees to build peace in their own homes and communities.”

The YMCA Peace Lunch & Learn, sponsored by JE Hastings Ltd., will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 16 at the YMCA of Greater Moncton, 30 War Veterans Ave., Moncton. As part of the event, the Y will celebrate and honour the 2018 Peace Medal recipients. The 2018 Peace Medals will be presented to:
