The YMCA of Greater Moncton will close both of their fitness facilities as of January 6, 2021 based on the decision of the province of New Brunswick to revert the entire province to the Orange Alert Level due to the recent increase of positive COVID-19 cases.  We will remain closed until we return to the Yellow Alert Level

(Moncton, N.B., May 14, 2018) – Registration is now under way for summer day camp at the Campbellton branch of the YMCA.

“Our summer day camp at the Memorial Civic Centre, for children ages five to 12, will give kids fun experiences that will last a lifetime!” says Amelie Bernard, Coordinator of After School, Camp and Youth programs at the YMCA Campbellton. “Children will enjoy outings, outdoor play, arts and culture, educational activities and much more. Our YMCA staff have Standard First Aid and CPR, Child Protection Training, and Background & Record Checks to ensure your children receive the highest level of care.”

The YMCA of Campbellton is located on the main floor of the Memorial Civic Centre at 44 Salmon Boulevard. This year’s summer day camp at the Campbellton Y will be offered from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Kids will have fun with the wide variety of weekly themes on tap from nature exploration and art to science and the Olympics, says Bernard. To ensure no one misses a camp experience, the YMCA offers financial assistance to those whose circumstances would otherwise prevent them from enjoying camp, notes Bernard. (There is also a 10% discount for each additional sibling signed up by parents or guardians for the summer day camp.)
