As Moncton grows, so will the YMCA.
For more than a decade, tremendous growth in Greater Moncton has led to an increased demand for a wide range of programs and services. Social issues, a lack of connectivity and a lack of physical activity are having a troubling effect on individuals and families in our community.
We were pleased to have been asked to partner with the City of Moncton to build a new YMCA facility in one of the fastest growing and underserved areas of Moncton—the North End.
Why the YMCA?
We are ready to build what matters.
For 150 years, we have worked hard to make a tangible difference in people’s lives and the community we live in. YMCA programs and services are already influencing the health of our community and helping become more physically fit, better connected and equipped with the skills needed to achieve success in work and life.
Federal, provincial and municipal governments have contributed $14 million toward the $17-million YMCA Moncton North project. The YMCA, through our Building What Matters Campaign, is on a mission to raise the remaining $3 million. Donors like YOU can BUILD WHAT MATTERS!
We are committed to discovering the right way for you to invest in your community. Whether you choose to make a one-time donation or a pledge for up to five years, your contribution will bring us one step closer to realizing a healthier, more connected and more inclusive community. Together, we can create a future where everyone belongs.
