The YMCA of Greater Moncton will close both of their fitness facilities as of January 6, 2021 based on the decision of the province of New Brunswick to revert the entire province to the Orange Alert Level due to the recent increase of positive COVID-19 cases.  We will remain closed until we return to the Yellow Alert Level

(Moncton, November 24, 2020) - In light of the current Orange phase of Zone 1, the YMCA of Greater Moncton has made the decision to temporarily close the membership facilities at the YMCA Moncton North-Nord location effective Thursday, November 26, 2020.
This includes:
  • Fitness Centre
  • Walking and Running Track
  • Gymnasium
  • Splash Pad
  • Playground
  • Regularly scheduled programming
The After School Program and the Alternative Suspension youth program at this location will not be affected by this closure.
The closure of the YMCA Moncton North-Nord facility is a decision made due to the current low attendance and usage of the facility.
“We will continue to evaluate the situation and the decision to reopen will be made once we are confident that the facility will be used to its full potential” says YMCA of Greater Moncton CEO, Zane Korytko.
Members can continue to use the facilities at the YMCA of Greater Moncton at 30 War Veterans Ave, while abiding by the Province of New Brunswick’s current operating standards for phase orange.
