YMCA hosts the official launch of Black History Month in Greater Moncton. The event is being organized by the Congolese Association of Congo Kinshasa of N.B. and area partners.

Media representatives and the general public are invited to the YMCA for the launch of Black History Month by the Congolese Association of Congo Kinshasa of N.B. and local partners. In addition to the YMCA of Greater Moncton, those partnering with the Congolese Association include the Province of New Brunswick, the City of Moncton, the Moncton Public Library, MAGMA (Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area), CAFi (Centre d’accueil et d’accompagnement francophone des immigrants), Cornerstone Chapel, New Brunswick African Festival and Correctional Services of Canada. Black History Month celebrates the contribution of people of African descent to the Canadian mosaic.
